Trailer: A-Team (2010)

I’ve seen this trailer  a couple of times at the movies lately, so I thought I’d give my opinion on it.

Being a fan of the original series, I’m honestly NOT looking forward to this.

The series had some corniness to it and that’s what made it appealing, but this 2010 movie update that stands in its place appears to be nothing more than a heartless summer box office cash cow.  Liam Neeson seems to be channeling Sean Connery rather than Hannibal and Rampage Jackson’s take on BA Baracus seems dull and uninspired but on the upside, at least he doesn’t seem to be delivering his lines in a “Mr. T” like fashion – now that would be foolery of the highest order. I’ve never liked Bradley Cooper in anything other than The Hangover but I must admit him as Faceman was a good casting call and Sharlto Copley of “District 9” fame makes for a promising Murdock. These 2 appear to be this flick’s only glimmer of hope. All in all, this looks like it’s going to be as exciting as owning a different colour flannel shirt for each day of the week.

Meh, I’m just sayin’…
